Juvie Hall is proud to present sketch comedy phenomenon FRESH MEAT, a sketch comedy trio straight out of New York City whose sold-out runs at Manhattan’s premier up-and-coming comedy theater, Juvie Hall, are generating a buzz within the city’s provocative underground comedy community. FRESH MEAT will perform one night only on Thursday, September 1st at 8PM.

FRESH MEAT is a 60-minute non-stop powerhouse of smart, off-the-wall, multimedia sketch comedy, exploiting the social structure of everyday life. Stereotypes and societal norms fall apart in the hands of this daring and edgy comedy team – even scene changes become part of the comic action. One serving of FRESH MEAT has 100% daily value of relationships, cultural rituals, masculinity, digital age disasters, and a pinch of childhood frailty. So open wide, here comes FRESH MEAT.

FRESH MEAT has performed at comedy clubs and festivals across the country and in Canada, and at the top three comedy theaters in New York City: Upright Citizens Brigade, the Peoples Improv Theater, and their current home, Juvie Hall. The group’s members have worked on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Saturday Night Live. “Absolutely hilarious!” proclaims the Leader-Post of Canada. “Really freakin’ funny!
